Studying meditation with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

These intensive sessions were all transformational and deepened Carolyn's love and appreciation for the art and science of yoga.

After extensive study with a wide variety of master teachers, Carolyn launched Maha Pura's Teacher Training Program as the director of Maha Pura Yoga and wrote 12 comprehensive manuals that have received an amazingly positive response that has left Carolyn completely humbled.

Maha Pura's first video: Strengthen and Lengthen sold out and will soon be available as a download along with a host of other videos now in the making.

Carolyn still deeply enjoys teaching yoga to every level of student from beginner to advanced at the studio.

Her anatomy studies have gone well beyond the advanced anatomy certification requirements.  Coming from a medical family, Carolyn understands the importance of continually striving to deepen her knowledge on this subject.  The science behind the workings of our bodies, combined with traditional wisdom, defines Carolyn's approach to yoga.

Carolyn has studied such a multitude of different styles and approaches to the art of yoga, (even some Thai Massage Training) and learned valuable insights from each approach, that she does not adhere strictly to any one school of yoga. Her humour and passion infuses everything she teaches.
